Designer who makes complex software feel obvious.
I'm Harshit Khicher — a product designer with six years of experience in regulated, high-stakes B2B software. My work sits at the intersection of system complexity and human cognition: finding the gap between what the software needs to do and what users can absorb in a single glance, then closing it.
I've designed across pharma procurement, life sciences inventory, fleet telematics, and energy infrastructure. The common thread isn't the domain — it's the density. These are systems where a missed signal has real consequences, and where the interface has to earn trust on every screen.
My process is systematic before it's visual. I start with workflow audits, trace where decisions get made and where they get stuck, and work backwards from there. The design work is the last 30% — the first 70% is understanding the system well enough that the right design becomes obvious.
